Food Aid and Distribution

Rice, flour, oil and sugar for families facing hunger after failed rains.

Ongoing Baydhabo & Mogadishu 9,200 people
About this project

Rice, flour, oil and sugar for families facing hunger after failed rains.

Households are enrolled and issued QR cards. At pick-up, field officers scan the card and the system blocks any second claim in the same campaign.

How we deliver it
  • Food package distribution

Household enrolment with QR cards that lock against duplicate claims.

  • Hot meals & Ramadan iftar

Daily meal counters and venue reconciliation for seasonal iftar.

  • Emergency shelter & relief kits

Vulnerability scoring that prioritises female-headed households, IDPs and PWDs.
